Construction Updates 

Construction is expected to resume on Monday, May 4, 2020. Due to COVID-19 and social distancing practices, all in-person interactions with project personnel should be avoided. Please be aware that vehicles parked on Tyson Avenue between Carson Avenue and Bradfield Road will need to be relocated to allow for roadway work to continue.

7/12/2019: Tyson Avenue Closure and Detour for Drainage Improvement in Abington Township,

 "Tyson Avenue will be closed and detoured between Ardsley Avenue and Bradfield Road in Abington Township, Montgomery County on Monday, July 15, through the end of August, for drainage work on a project to improve safety and travel on Tyson Avenue, Edge Hill Road, Jenkintown Road and several adjacent township roads, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During the closure, Tyson Avenue motorists will be detoured over Edge Hill Road and Easton Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.In addition to the closure and detour, Tyson Avenue will be reduced to a single lane between Edge Hill Road and Ardsley Avenue.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur."
